2.4-Chloropropofol Sulfoxide Ester is reacted with methylimide chloride to generate 2-(4-chloropropoxy)-2-methyl propionimide.
3. Finally, 2-(4-chloropropoxy)-2-methylpropionimide is reacted with thionyl chloride to generate 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methylpropyloyl chloride.
